Meet Our Leadership

Chef J. Rod Pannek
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran and culinary expert, Chef Rod founded Children’s Menu to bring discipline, service, and creativity to school nutrition. Trained at El Centro Culinary Arts and the Marine Corps Baking School, he’s known for signature recipes served in La Madeleine French Bakeries, including Tomato Basil Soup and Croque Monsieur.

Chef Fan
Born in Jiangsu, China, Chef Fan brings over a decade of culinary experience, with a special focus on toddler-friendly baking. Since joining in 2018, she has developed a line of kid-approved oatmeal bars, muffins, and scratch-made biscuits that align with CACFP standards.
