Meet Chef Rod
Chef J. Rod Pannek has owned Children’s Menu Catering since its inception in 1990. El Centro Culinary Arts and the United States Marine Corps Baking School provided his formal training. Chef Rod is most famous for being the original Corporate Chef Traiteur for la Madeleine French Bakeries and Cafes where he formulated and defined their Tomato Basil Soup, Caesar Salad, Croque Monsieur, and PizzaladIere; his versions are world-famous and widely sold. The Chef’s other ventures include Two Chef’s Restaurant, Café Polo, Wildcat Café, and TLC (Teacher’s Lounge Catering)
Meet Chef Fan
Chef Chen Fan was born in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, China. She has lived in the USA for over ten years and been an integral part of Children’s Menu since 2018. Chef Fan concentrates her acumen on the fresh baked biscuits, muffins and oatmeal bars.

Education & Background
Our catering team comprises professionally trained chefs who have received certification from the Culinary Institute of America. They are knowledgeable in the latest food trends and can create a customized menu for your event or school.

Our team also includes personnel who have received a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management from Texas A&M University. They are well-versed in the management and organization of catering events, ensuring that everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
